Why a registered source matters
Molybdenum sold in Canada as a fertilizer ingredient must be registered under the Fertilizers Act. Product without a registration number on the label can be refused entry at the border or detained at the blending plant, regardless of grade or origin.
RHEXAN MOLY-39 clears with the registration number on the commercial invoice and the approved bilingual label on every drum, so the paperwork a blender’s compliance team needs is already done.
Molybdenum availability in soil falls as pH drops. Alberta Agriculture and the Canola Council document molybdenum deficiency in pulses and canola on acidic soils, particularly in the Peace River region and parts of central and northern Alberta. Blenders serving those areas formulate molybdenum into their programs on the basis of soil and tissue analysis.
Crop and rate recommendations are the responsibility of the blender or agronomist; RHEXAN MOLY-39 is a registered molybdenum source for those programs.
