About EDTA Iron (Fe-13)
EDTA-FeNa₂ is the disodium ferric salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Chelated iron is significantly more stable and plant-available than inorganic iron salts, particularly in neutral to mildly alkaline soils where iron deficiency (chlorosis) is common. Fe-13 indicates approximately 13% chelated ferric iron content. The yellow crystalline form is highly water-soluble and suitable for foliar sprays, drip irrigation systems, and liquid fertilizer blends. It is also used in industrial water treatment and as a micronutrient supplement in specialty formulations.
